​Dabbs Creek Aussies

Australian Shepherds are lovingly referred to as Aussies.  They are highly intelligent, easily trainable and loyal family members.  They are, however, first and foremost herding dogs....whether it be ducks, geese, sheep, horses, cattle.... and yes, even children.  Please remember
this when considering an Aussie.  They are gentle dogs with big hearts and they love being with their people.  One of the things that we love most about Aussies is that they are excellent watch dogs and can be very protective of their family and property.
